To Snapple, every block needs a bodega, even the blockchain. So we, with the help of our friends at the Electric Factory (THEF), built a playable bodega in Decentraland.
The problem with a bodega in the metaverse? No one actually goes there — meaning only 1,000 people a week do. So how did we get over 1000 eyeballs on our bodega every minute? Easy, we partnered with the hottest streamers on Twitch to play the bodega live during sponsored ad breaks. This made Snapple the first brand to create live ad breaks in the metaverse.
